the role Glutathione has played in healing eczema
Glutathione is often called the “master antioxidant” for good reason—it supports nearly every system in the body. From boosting immunity to promoting healthy skin, its benefits are wide-reaching and deeply healing.
This natural compound helps combat oxidative stress, which plays a major role in many chronic conditions and autoimmune disorders. It also supports liver health by helping detoxify, which has an array of health benefits.
Its ability to regenerate cells strengthens the immune system and helps the body bounce back from illness more quickly.
For anyone dealing with inflammation, toxicity, or chronic illness, glutathione is a powerful ally on the path to healing and balance.
The world of supplements can become very overwhelming, and my goal is to keep them at a minimum- partly because I will forget to administer them if there are too many, but also because I don't think they are all necessary. I love to take natural breaks from supplements, and really target what is going on at the time we are using them- taking into account things like seasonal allergies, food exposure, illnesses ect.
I don't say this lightly, glutathione has been incredibly helpful for my youngest daughter. Not only have we introduced foods that were previously out because of sensitivity, her skin is doing better than it was when I had those foods removed. Her itching has reduced, and her eczema has improved. The only thing that we consistently changed was adding trizomal gluthathione into her diet. Getting a good amount of anti-oxidants can be hard with food sensitivities and picky eaters. Along with glutathione the only other supplements that we have been fairly consistent with are a gentle homeopathic parasite cleanse, vitamin c, and Chinese skullcap.
There are natural ways to increase glutathione with certain foods- mostly sulphur containing vegetables like broccoli, cabbage, onions and garlic. These foods can be tricky to get kids to consume enough of. There are also ways that decrease glutatione in our bodies, one of those being Tylenol. Tylenol really decreases glutathione in our bodies, so if you have a history of much Tylenol use, your body may need a boost of glutathione.
We use the Apex Energetics Trizomal Glutathione and it has worked so well for her.
It is truly incredible to watch how their bodies can heal and withstand so many changes. Could an extra boost of anti-oxidants be what your body needs?
I’m excited to take you along the journey of our healing and the role that this anti-oxidant will play! There are always ebbs and flows in healing, but it is always so encouraging to find something that supports their growing bodies at the time that they need it.
