Olive Oil & Maple Syrup Coffee

Topped with my homemade marshmallows and cinnamon!

dairy and plant based milk free- creamy, sweet caramel to enrich your coffee - full of healthy fats and minerals this is a healthy way to sweeten and enjoy your coffee

Ingredients:

  • your favorite brewed coffee or coffee alternative (even icecream!)

  • 1 TBPS maple syrup

  • 1 tsp olive oil

  • Collagen (optional- adds extra creaminess and protein boost!)

Directions:

  • whisk the maple syrup and olive oil together (I used a hand held electric whisk) until it thickens and becomes the color of caramel.

  • pour hot coffee over and give it a stir

  • quickly add collagen before whisking everything together

  • *optional top with homemade marshmallows and cinnamon (recipe here)

I have tried different creamers for my coffee while being dairy free because I just love a little bit of something in my coffee. This to me has tasted better than the dairy alternative creamers I was using- I think its just as good as Nutpods which was a favorite of mine! Let me know if you give it a try.
